I say again, if you don't approve of America's christian based values, leave. Do not invade our Christian values, our ceremonies, displays, or churches. Americas armed forces have fought for Americas values, and Christians will stand against your invasion. I ask that all Christians call the representatives of their states and address this blatant attack on Christianity. In my opinion, Governor Gregoire should be removed from her position as Governor.
Read below-Sent to me in a email

Turns out the holiday display by the Freedom from Religion folks has turned into quite a catalyst for religious conservatives.
Two more groups have emerged and are trying to set up their own Christmas displays at the state capital.
Larry Stickney, executive director of Washington Values Alliance, sent out an e-mail early this morning, saying the organization has applied for a permit to put up its own holiday display at the capital "to counter atheist's display."
He said he expects to get permission so the group can set up its display on Monday.
Scroll down to read about the tree-lighting ceremony tonight and about another protest demonstration on Sunday, led by grass-roots organizers.
And KIRO is reporting there's one more group jumping onto the bandwagon, too.
Jerry Cornfield of The (Everett) Herald wrote a piece back in April that gives some background on the consolidation of two family value groups.
[More:]
Washington Values Alliance blasts politically correct Olympia culture, seeks to counter atheist's display
Arlington, Washington - December 5, 2008 - Larry Stickney, President of the recently formed (October, 2008) Washington Values Alliance, criticized Governor Christine Gregoire today for allowing an out of state atheist group to set up a display under the capitol dome "for the sole purpose of antagonizing Christians and disrespecting the sacred holiday of Christmas."
Atheist sign
"Here is where Gregoire and other Olympia liberals' erroneous interpretation of free speech and the 1st Amendment breaks down," said Stickney. "In their world, it's okay to verbally pummel tens of thousands of Christians and disrespect their holidays, but don't you dare open your mouth disparagingly about a minority religion or a deviant sexual lifestyle or you will likely be fired and/or charged with a hate crime. In other words, the constitutional right to exercise free speech anytime and anywhere applies to liberals and their politically correct causes and classifications only."
Responding to the atheist's display, the Washington Values Alliance is fighting back with a Christmas display of its own for the capitol rotunda, submitting an application with the State Capitol Visitor Services on Thursday morning. "We are hoping our display (see below) will help neutralize the atheist's negative message of despair with the sacred Christmas message of hope for all mankind," said Stickney. "I was told we should receive our permit and be allowed to set up our display up on Monday, December 8.""Freedom of speech was never meant to be a license for fringe groups to insult and antagonize the rest of us. While we must all do our best to respect the opinion of those we don't agree with, the 1st Amendment also guarantees our constitutional right to carry on our nation's religious culture and traditions and we should be able to do so without petty harassment," Stickney continued.Atheist sign"The bottom line is this: The atheist's display is in bad taste and it was a bad call to give them a permit at this time of year. There remains something in this world called civility. Allowing groups like these to thumb their nose at those who believe in God during the sacred Christmas holiday season runs counter to sensible decorum and keeping the peace. There are many appropriate forums, both public and private for these folks to promote atheism, this isn't one of them."
The mission of the Washington Values Alliance is to promote and reinforce the fundamental American principles of individual liberty, personal responsibility, free enterprise and limited government; to encourage respect for the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Washington; and to vigorously defend human life, the institution of marriage, religious freedom, and Judeo-Christian values

Keeping "Christ" in Christmas

Sent to me in an email from The American Center for Law and Justice

As we celebrate the Christmas season, The American Center for Law and Justice want to make sure that you have the opportunity to celebrate the holiday according to your religious beliefs. It’s important to understand that expressing your faith during this special time of year is constitutionally protected. But, there are important guidelines that must be followed to ensure that such expression takes place within the proper context protected by the Constitution.
The ACLJ has prepared resource information that clearly spells out what is permissible when it comes to expressing the religious origins of the holiday season by erecting nativity scenes in your community.
Although holiday observances are constitutionally permissible, there is a concern that local school districts may feel pressure to censor religious expression during Christmas. That’s exactly why The American Center for Law and Justice has put together an easy-to-read informational letter that provides answers to questions, which are most commonly asked regarding the rights of students and teachers to participate in these observances. You can read the letter at American Center for Law and Justice.
At the same time, The American Center for Law and Justice will continue to work to protect your religious and constitutional right – especially during the Christmas season.

Please visit the American Center for Law and Justice regularly, as they work to ensure our rights in other areas.

Where is the Good Samaritan?

Sent to me in e-mail.

One man was killed. I'm thrilled to report that in just one week, more than 100,000 citizens have joined the Resistance! This is great news, especially with more and more reports about the very aggressive agenda President-elect Obama has set for the first days of his administration.
Obama's promised executive orders alone will shut down oil and gas exploration, push radical global warming policies and force taxpayer funded abortions. And now Obama is promising more massive bailouts that will further expand government power. Our Goal: 200,000 Resisters This Week!
In order to reach our goal of 1 million Resisters by Inauguration Day, we must cross 200,000 this week. We have already begun aggressive efforts to get the word out through conservative radio, Drudge Report and other means. But I need your help to spread the word TODAY:
Please forward this message to your conservative friends right now and ask them to Join The Resistance. Your friends can go here to sign: http://www.grassfire.net/r.asp?u=13283&PID=18782878
Update on the Obama Booklet Also, my staff is finalizing Grassfire's booklet "Living In An Obama Nation" which outlines the 21 greatest threats the Obama Administration poses to your family and our nation. I expect to have this 48-page booklet to the printer tomorrow and shipping on time before the end of the month.
To request your copies or for a sneak peek inside the booklet, go here: http://www.grassfire.net/r.asp?U=13279&CID=111&RID=18782878
Thank you so much for taking a stand with Grassfire! Together, we can mount a patriotic, resilient, conservative Resistance to Barack Obama and the socialist Left. Steve Elliott, President Grassfire.org
P.S. I have received many requests from Resisters who want more information on Grassfire's overall Resistance strategy. I don't agree with Darwin, but I didn't go out and hire a lawyer when my high school teacher taught his Theory of Evolution.
Life, liberty or your pursuit of happiness will not be endangered because someone says a 30-second prayer before a football game. So what's the big deal? It's not like somebody is up there reading the entire Book of Acts. They're just talking to a God they believe in and asking him to grant safety to the players on the field and the fans going home from the game. But it's a Christian prayer, some will ARGUE. Yes, and this is the United States of America, a country founded on Christian principles. According to our very own phone book, Christian churches outnumber all others better than 200-to-1. So what would you expect -- somebody chanting Hare Krishna?
If I went to a football game in Jerusalem, I would expect to hear a Jewish prayer.
If I went to a soccer game in Baghdad, I would expect to hear a Muslim prayer.
If I went to a ping pong match in China, I would expect to hear someone pray to Buddha. And I wouldn’t be offended. It wouldn’t bother me one bit. When in Rome….
But what about the atheists? Is another argument. What about them?
Nobody is asking them to be baptized. We’re not going to pass the collection plate. Just humor us for 30 seconds. If that’s asking too much, bring a Walkman, or a pair of earplugs. Go to the bathroom. Visit the concession stand. I don't think a short prayer at a football game is going to shake the world's foundations.
Christians are just sick and tired of turning the other cheek while our courts strip us of all our rights. Our parents and grandparents taught us to pray before eating, to pray before we go to sleep. Our Bible tells us to pray without ceasing. The silent majority has been silent too long. It’s time we tell that one or two who scream loud enough to be heard that the vast majority doesn’t care what they want. It is time that the majority, Rules! It’s time we tell them, You don’t have to pray; you don’t have to say the Pledge of Allegiance; you don’t have to believe in God or attend services that honor Him. That is your right, and we will honor your right; but by golly, you are no longer going to take our rights away. We are fighting back, and we WILL WIN!
God bless us one and all … Especially those who denounce Him, God bless America, despite all her faults. She is still the greatest nation of all.
God bless our service men and women who are fighting to protect our right to pray and worship God.
Let’s make 2009 the year the silent majority is heard and we put God back as the foundation of our families and institutions.

Pro-Life vs Pro-Choice

As a Pro-Life supporter I would like to see all abortion mills shutdown.
